We are saddened to account the passing of Santiago Salinas on January 19, 2022.

"Jumbo" as he was known, was born in Raymondville, Texas to Santiago Salinas, Sr. and Guadalupe, Flores on January 28, 1959, he passed just 9 days before his 63rd birthday.  He lived in Palmetto Florida for many years, previously from Immokalee, and loved to take pictures and go back and look thru them, enjoyed dogs- he was drawn to anyone's dog and liked riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed driving semi-trucks so much that his work as a truck driver didn't seem like work, but most of all he loved his beloved wife and family. He liked the fact that some of his family lived near to him and he was able to spend time with them.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing his loving wife Elizabeth Salinas, 1 son: Santiago Salinas III, 3 daughters: Sindy Lowry, Stephanie Canova and Liza Salinas along with 16 grandchildren, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel, 221 North 3rd Street, Immokalee. Final disposition will be cremation.
