Santos Sanchez, 70, left to walk with the Lord on November 29, 2019 in Lehigh Acres, Florida. She passed after enduring a long illness. Mrs. Sanchez was born in Brownsville, Texas November 30, 1948 to father; Matias Garcia and mother; Maria Cortez. She had many hobbies outside of spending time with her family which included dancing, shopping and lots of bingo. She had been a custodian at Lake Trafford elementary school in Immokalee for many years before her retirement.

She leaves to mourn her a husband; Jose Sanchez, three daughters; Anna Garza, Frances Alvarado and Sabrina Ortiz(Christopher),three sisters; Hortencia Salinas, Maria Garcia and Juanita Garcia, two brothers; Matias Garcia Jr. and Mario Garcia, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a Son, Adan Garza in 2017.

There will be a viewing at the Brister Funeral Home chapel on Monday December 9th from 6-7:30pm and a funeral mass on Tuesday December 10, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 10am. Cremation to follow.
