Sawena Otero of the Seminole Reservation Immokalee, Florida passed away February 28, 2022.  She was 32 years old.

Sawena was born in Fort Myers to parents Matthew and Yolanda Sims Otero on August 23, 1989. She enjoyed the beach, listening to music, eating good food and watching movies.

She is survived by her father Matthew Otero, 3 sisters: Megan Otero, Rita Otero and Maggie Puente, 1 brother: Heath Otero, 2 children: Ileyana Harjo and Cheyahv Lewis, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Yolanda Otero.

Viewing/calling hour will be held on March 4, 2022 at Immokalee First Seminole Baptist Church beginning at 10:00 am.  The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am at the same church.  Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
