Teresa Washington Munoz 59 years old, lost her long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mrs. Munoz was born in Sebring, Florida to father Carl Washington and Ada Hall Washington.
Teresa worked for over 20 years with the United States Postal Service. She married her beloved husband Raul Munoz in Immokalee on April 26, 2006.
Many people knew her, not just for her work at the Post Office, but her friendly and helpful nature. She loved her family most, but had a devotion to collecting memorabilia of the movie Mosters, Incorporated. Everything from small trinkets, cups and glasses to blankets and t-shirts.
Survivors include the love of her life, husband Raul Munoz, son David Lee Lawrence , Jr. ("Big Dog"), sister Lois Dunnaway, grandson Tobias Lee Lawrence, nieces Tanya Dunnaway and Jody Thomas . along with many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Peggy Thomas and brother Mike Washington.
There will be a viewing and service combination on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel between 4:00-6:00 pm with Pastor Thom Street and Cecil Howell reminding us of the celebration she is having with the Lord and offering words of comfort for all those left behind.
