Terry Heath 54 of Immokalee passed away August 11, 2016. Terry was born in Fort Myers May 11, 1962 .

Terry was a Fire Fighter from March 24, 1990 until his retirement October 7, 2011 for the Immokalee Fire Department. Terry then served as a Commissioner on the Immokalee Fire Control District serving Immokalee and Ave Maria from 2012-2016. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Felda Fire Department.

The Terry Heath Scholarship will be used for high school seniors that will be taking courses to be a firefighter or EMT. Please contact the Immokalee Fire Control District 230-657-2111 for further information.

Terry was known as a man with a heart of gold, enjoyed his hobbies of hunting, fishing and being a rancher, but his home was the firehouse. Terry is survive by his sister: Debbie Heath Seifert (Steve), brothers; Allen Williams (Dale), and Brian Newhouse. father; Jerry Williams, father; Stanley Heath (Pat) along with nieces and nephews; Zak and Meagan Williams, Ryan and Tori Bethea and Chyanne Newhouse along with extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Joann Williams (2006) .


Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, 1411 Lake Trafford Rd, Immokalee , Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm.  Following a true firefighters funeral procession, Terry will be buried at The Baptist Cemetery, North 11th Street, Immokalee.
