Victor John Imundo, age 85, had passed and entered Heavens gates on March 17, 2017. He passed away at the NCH (Naples Community Hospital) Health Care System in Naples, Florida.

Victor was born August 03, 1931 in Bronx, New York, to Joseph and Mary Carielli-Imundo. He was the second oldest of two brothers and has one older sister. Victor served in the United States Army as a Field Wireman Corporal with the 37th infantry from 1951-1953. He earned a bronze service metal. Victor was married to his beloved wife, Jean Anne Siniscalchi-Imundo on April 16, 1966. He has two children John and Michael. Victor was employed for 30 years at the New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA). Victor also served as first aid responder through the Emergency Medical Services of the NYCTA. Victor was also a member of the VFW post 10386, Kingman, Arizona. He was also a member of the Korean War Veteran Association in Danbury, Connecticut. Victor also volunteered as a service member at the St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Kingman, Arizona.
He lived in several different places -- including Bronx, New York; Campinas, Brazil; Kingman Arizona; Danbury, Connecticut --before settling in Ave Maria, Florida where he spent his days relaxing in the sun.

Victor will be especially remembered as a hard worker, quite stoic but with a wonderful, lighthearted personality. He always joked around and overlooked his ailments with a sense of humor.
Survivors include his spouse, Jean, his sons, John and Michael, daughter in-laws Maribel and Samira and grandchildren Mariam, John, Yussef, Adam and Brianna and his brothers John and Joseph and sister Rosemary Walsh.

Victor's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held in New York in the near future.
