Victor M. Rua 63 years old of Immokalee, passed away at home with his loved ones surrounding him, February 3, 2019.  Mr. Rua was born in Patillas, Puerto Rico to father Arnulfo Rua and mother Dorotea Figureroa Rua. He met the love of his life Santos Olvera and worked hard for his family which he loved so much.

He worked as a mechanic in a auto repair shop, but he enjoyed doing mechanic work so much, that it was not like a job to him, he received joy from going this type of "work".  He also enjoyed going fishing before falling ill.

Víctor leaves behind to mourn his loss many loved ones, including his wife Santos Rua, 1 daughter: Carmen Rua, 3 sons: Ivan Rua,, Miguel Rua and Victor Rua Jr., 11 grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Brister Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the funeral home chapel beginning at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
