Virginia A. Herrera 35 years young, was called to the Lords arms August 10, 2018 at her home in Immokalee, Florida.

Virginia was born in Brownsville, Texas on December 31, 1982. She moved to Immokalee with her family and enjoyed being with her children, siblings, parents and friends.

She will always be known as giver. She was there to listen and help all those who needed a shoulder to cry on, to help to straighten things out, even known to give her last dollar to help someone.

Virginia leaves behind her 7 children, ages 5 years old to 16 years old: Isabell Kristine Ortega, Ralph Isaah Ortega, Elijah Jared Valdez, Kimberly Matayla Valdez, Khloe Esmeralda Valdez, Jayla Kayleen Valdez and Kylie Valdez. Her parents: Jose Enrique Herrera and Rosa Maria Salazar Herrera,
brother: Enrique Herrera, sisters: Luz Lara, Pearla Herrera and Sandra Herrera along with sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Brister Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lake Trafford Memorial Gardens.
