Will Carr 85 years old was called to Heaven December 8, 2019.

Mr. Carr was born in Monticello, Florida to father Richard Carr and mother Matida Harris Carr. At a young age he moved to Perry, Florida with his father and then relocated to Immokalee. He was known by many as "Sweet Peter" because of his charming attitude and classy persona. Will was a beloved member of the community and enjoyed sharing stories of his childhood and life experiences. Most of his stores were told about the two women that installed morals and values with in him, known as his pillars, Grandmother Lucy Carr and Aunt Mamie Brown. He enjoyed card games, shooting the breeze, cooking to feed anyone who would like or needed to eat and signing. He lived and enjoyed life to the fullness and traveled to many places in our county. His memories will live on through the memories of those that he touched. Will was a member of House of Prayer of the Living God. He publicly rededicated his life to God through baptism in 2015.

He leaves to cherish his memory-siblings: (1) brother; Richard J Carr, Jr. (Mary), (2) sisters: Ella Mae Moss and Lillie Wilds. Aunt Minnie Lewis and Uncle Solomon Harris, (10) loving children; Diane Albritton (Roosevelt)  Eddie Washington (Rhoderica), Victoria Gauze (Verol), Jimmy Washington (Shalonda), JoAnn Jenkins (Antonio), Debra Pinckne, Richard Carr (Susie), Darin Jackson, Alfreda Murphy, Itoria Jackson, along with favorite cousin Cassandra James. A host of grandchildren great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, godchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at House of Prayer of the Living God from 5:00-7:00 pm. The Homecoming will be on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Bethel Assembly of God at 1:00 pm. Followed by the repast and his birthday party at House of Prayer, 401 S. 2nd Street, Immokalee, FL
