Zola G.
Pratt 90 years young, was call to Heaven September 21, 2013 at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida.
Mrs. Pratt was born in Rolla, Missouri to father John I Cooley and mother Frances Jones Cooley. She was married for over 50 years to her husband Carroll E. Pratt before his passing.
She grew up in a Christian household, married a Christian man who also was a Pastor and started a ministry. She loved her family, Gospel Music and enjoyed trips and cruising. She went on her ultiment goal of seeing Alaska, spending 5 days seeing the beautiful landscape and 7 days on board a ship crusing around Alaska. She never wanted anyone to worry about her, even when she was ill. She will always be remembered for having a smile on her face.
Mrs. Pratt is survived by daughter Carol Hamman, son Harrold "Skip" Pratt (Connie), five grandchildren; Frances Hamman-Samba (Kelvin), Ronald R. Hamman, Deanna York (David), Derick Pratt (Lori) and Jennifer Pratt, along with eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Pratt was preceded in death by her husband Carroll Pratt December 26, 1998. She was the last of 12 children--11 siblings passed before her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at First United Methodist Church from 6-8 pm. A service will then start at 8:00 pm with Pastor Matt Rios from First United Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be held at Jefferson Barrack National Cemetery, in Saint Louis, Missouri.
